Church of Scientology

Hopefully no one will come after me for posting this. Hopefully no one will try to destroy my reputation in a smear campaign or frame me for a crime which I did not commit……as has mysteriously happened to some who’ve criticized or attempted to educate people on this subject. Or those who’ve “suddenly commited suicide”.  I make no claims as to who may be responsible nor do I even attempt to try to figure it out and “slander” anyone in the process, so let’s just say it is a “mystery” which is not solved to those who this has happened to who’ve happened to be critics of this particular group. And I would like to wholeheartedly declare right here and now for all to see that I HAVE NO INTENTION OF COMMITTING SUICIDE (should someone find me suddenly dead – I DID NOT DO IT TO MYSELF) nor do I have a history of drug or alcohol usage, psychiatric disorder, crime, I have NEVER been arrested (and in fact I support several police and firefighter groups), I have no sex offenses, child molestation (I have donated countless hours to helping kids or shuttling them on field trips) or any other accusations that might come to light or be published about me somewhere as a retaliation for the simple act of utilizing my Constitutional Right of Freedom of Speech. I’m not saying this will happen, I’m simply stating that there is published and provable case that this HAS happened to some individuals. So I must state my own stance on this beforehand so it is a known quantity.
That said………
 
Being an ex-member of the what I feel to be a cult…which is the group known as Scientology (I spent over 13 years in), I feel that it is my duty to make known as much information as possible about this group so people can make a FULLY informed choice if they do decide to go in there. I am not a racist. I am not a bigot in any way, especially with regard to people’s choice of religions or what they want to place their faith in spiritually.  I am not against people FREELY choosing which religion they would like to belong to, this one included. It IS America and I fully support our Constitution and its standard of FREEDOM OF RELIGION and so if someone wishes to be a Scientologist, I support their right to do so. The average Scientologist is a VERY DECENT human being to the core who truly wants to help others and save this planet from it’s miseries and injustices, and so I hold no animosity toward them in any way.
 
HOWEVER:
What I don’t support are groups which do not disclose any and all information about themselves while luring people into something that can potentially harm their finances to the degree of tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars as well as their mental well-being. For those who are in Scientology and wish to stay there, fine. But for those who are on the fence or who are undecided, I urge you to PLEASE do some extensive research on the internet. This group goes well beyond the simple (and rather stupid) “Xenu” and “outer space” stories. First off: please visit Scientology’s websites AND visit the many internet sites where you may get BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY, fair and square.
 
Now as for my advice….do a search on these words: “Meade Emory Scientology”. You will find that a former IRS attorney and his co-horts in fact own, operate and give licensing to Religious Technology Center (who supposedly “own” the copyrights and trademarks of Scientology). The average Scientologist is completely unaware of this because information is kept from them.  An organization called “Church of Spiritual Technology” in fact owns and licenses RTC and is operated by an IRS ATTORNEY. (Ever wonder why these guys were given “tax exempt” status in 1993 to the degree that they HAVE MORE TAX EXEMPTION RIGHTS THAN ANY OTHER GROUP OR RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION IN THE UNITED STATES? Why? Well peek down the rabbit hole a little and you will find that it goes deeper, and deeper and deeper. I urge you to visit these site: www.xenu.net and www.clambake.org among others. I also urge you to educate yourself about the criminal court case in which several of the highest ranking officials of the church, including L. Ron Hubbard’s wife went to Federal prison for one of the largest infiltration of the United States Government in history. (And this is supposed to be a “church”???) Read the stories of Paulette Cooper and read the book: A Piece of Blue Sky by John Attack (former staff member) and listen to the Jason Beghe interviews and testimony by David Miscavige’s niece, Jenna Hill, on You Tube. There is so much information to be had, and what a fool I felt like when I found out the truth. I felt betrayed, lied to and completely taken advantage of by those who I had trusted with my spirtuality. Will everyone feel that way? I don’t know. It’s their right to choose for themselves, but it’s also their right to make an INFORMED decision. Something which was denied me, because I didn’t know anything about Scientology when I went in and was guided there by my husband who was at the time in there and had no one else to urge me to do some research first. Both of us were completely in the dark, and once you are in, you are constantly bombarded with the ideals that the “news always lies” the court system “always lies about us because they know we are trying to save the world”. Many good folks can SEE how our broken system is screwed up and it’s very easy to get sucked into the ideal of wanting a new system or technology or religion or whatever that might FIX things. But enough of that…..
 
IF after you have fully educated yourself by both visiting Scientology’s website telling their side and ALSO talked to members who are in AND EX-MEMBERS too so you can get both sides (once you are in Scientology will prevent you from talking to ex-members….they are labelled as “Suppressives” — people who are evil, want to stop help and destroy the planet — so talk to them BEFORE you go in), read every piece of data you can get including that of their secret IRS agreement, and as much web information as you can get and IF after all that, you still wish to go in there, then it is your Constitutional right and I have no more to say about it other than to wish you well in your endeavor. Be advised that when you go in you will be required to sign an “enrollment agreement” which states that they are under NO obligation to ever give you a refund of your money should you decide to leave because it’s considered a “donation” — but “policy” allows for a refund of your money IF you agree to follow that policy, which includes signing away your rights to sue the group for any reason, and that you hold no liability for damages known or unknown etc. etc. and you cannot consult a lawyer or you can’t get your money back. Once you sign, you are obligated to follow that policy. So, if you are going in, please think carefully about this.
 
In the meantime….here’s some more information that people may wish to look at:
It has come to light in the news in recent days that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett, who both DENY being Scientologists have opened a new school using L. Ron Hubbard study tech. First off, the chances of them not being Scientologists are very slim, if they have dumped their money into a Scientology tech based school. And their extremely close friendship with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes speaks volumes. Scientolgists do not become that close with anyone except other Scientologists. Period. Take it from me. I spent 13 years in there. Yes, they may have “friends” who are non-members, but not with the closeness that these guys are.
 
But that aside, anyone who even remotely thinks L.Ron Hubbard invented “study technology”…….well, just read this.
From a SCHOOL TEACHER from Virginia written in 1889. YES. 1889.
 
Like everything else that Hubbard conveniently took, he took this principle too from someone else, thinking he could trademark it and make money. And Scientology IS all about making money. It is this author’s opinion that his disdain for psychiatry came from his stealing of their means and methods….he figured “destroy them and then no one will know that I am using Wundt’s principles of running electric current through the body and repeating commands to achieve mild hypnosis…..and no one will know where I got this from and am charging exhorbitant amounts of money for.” He also figured, “Discredit the school system and all teachers and then no one will suspect what I have stolen from qualified teachers with real degrees.” as is shown here. Does it mean that my opinion is the truth? NO it does’t. Only you can decide what is your own truth. And you can decide for yourself by making sure you EDUCATE YOURSELF from every angle. The Fourth of July

I remember the day back in 1976. I was twelve years old and it was July 4th.
But not just any July 4th. This was the BICENTENNIAL celebration of The United States of America. As a child, I didn’t fully grasp what that truly meant in every sense of the word, but growing up in a small Connecticut town as I did, I surely understood the meaning of patriotism and how deep it ran in one of the older historic areas of the original 13 colonies.
 
Yes, it was hot and the air was as thick with excitement as it was with the humidity of that summer day in that wonderful, quaint and beautiful little town with its old fashioned “Village Green” which everything else in town was built around, just like in colonial times. Of course, it was a town filled with tradition and history……the buildings, some of which had been standing since the late 1600′s and early 1700s, the family genealogies of some who’s kinfolk had been there since their relatives had arrived on the Mayflower, including that of my mother’s family, who were very early settlers in Connecticut and Massachussetts. And even the lay of the land, spoke of the Revolutionary War days that it had seen and weathered.You could almost picture the soldiers on the sides of the rolling hills, muskets in hand…..tired and sweaty throughout the seasons which the battles raged on.
 
But that was only a piece of a picture from school books to this youngster, excitedly awaiting the parade, downtown block party and fireworks show that would come later in the evening. Yes, there would be the hotdogs and fries….a cold soda or a lemonade….homemade pies….the displays of arts and crafts etc. and the hundreds of folks from all over town who would converge downtown right next to Palone’s Pharmacy and the Post Office. There was a bandstand. I had never seen a live band before and I remember marvelling at the musicians playing up there making this wonderful, wonderful noise. I remember my father packing us all up and walking us down there since the streets were all blocked off and I recall how the whole scene just exploded with all that a national holiday of this nature had to offer, much less the bicentennial anniversary of our nation in a small colonial town. It would only come once, and we knew this was a day that we’d never forget  not just for the festivities but for the meaning of it.
 
Watching the parade go by….there were horses and buggies….ah, the Clydesdales in all their grand glory. There were men dressed in authentic Revolutionary war garb, and there were women dressed just as the settlers had dressed 200 years before them. Some had flags that were in fact from Revolutionary war times that were brought out to honor the day and the nation. By the end of the day…the fun, the food, the family, the celebration and the fireworks, we were exhausted and left with a memory that will linger with us until we are in our twilight years and can do no more than try to pass on the imagery of it to our children and grandchildren.
 
And, as we are approaching Independence Day weekend, the memories all come back. But with it comes more thought provoking issues of our times, in realizing that those memories that I hold so dear, are something that my own children and grandchildren may not get to experience if things continue down the path we are heading.
 
First off, it is important to remember those who’ve given their lives for the principles that our great nation was founded upon in every war from Revolutionary to current.
It is also important to THANK them for all they’ve done whether they agreed with it or not, whether they wanted to or not, whether they had wives, husbands, children, families that they left behind to go off and protect and serve our nation or to FOUND this nation. The men and women of our military are true heros of our time and times gone by. My father was in the United States Air Force. He is buried in the Veterans Memorial Cemetary locally and I honor his memory not only as a great father, and a great man…but as a hero, who as no more than a teenager enlisted and risked his life during WWII to defend and protect our country. For every immigrant who’s come here illegally to benefit from our nation’s wealth and opportunity, I hold you liable for your actions. My father and his six siblings were first generation born here. His parents were Greek immigrants who LEARNED TO SPEAK ENGLISH, took citizenship tests IN ENGLISH, and pledged their loyalty and their hearts to the nation which offered them new opportunities and a better life for themselves and their children after they made the long journey across the ocean to get here. Despite finding much less opportunity than they anticipated and weathering the Great Depression in which they barely made it through and oftimes my father and his brothers went hungry, my grandparents did this without argument. They did this without animosity or a need to “pledge” their allegiance to their homeland. They knew that they were building a new life, and while not forgetting their heritage or their land and traditions or that they are Greek…they realized that they were now in America living as AMERICANS who were born in Greece and who’s children, grandchildren and all their descendants would forever be AMERICANS thereafter.
 
At this point, I would like to take just a minute to print some of the finest words that have EVER been written. They are almost 250 years old, and they were well-thought out in every way. They are words that sadly, disturbingly and embarrassingly, the average American on the street CANNOT recite and doesn’t even know, except maybe the first line. They are words that our children are no longer being taught in school. They are words that men have lived for, died for, protected and served with every breath in their bodies. They are words that each and EVERY one of us should know and NEED to know if we are to save what is left of our great Republic. They are the words that mean EVERYTHING about what this nation, our laws, our principles and what is in our hearts stand for.
 
We the People
In order to form a more perfect Union
establish Justice
ensure domestic Tranquility,
provide for the common Defense
promote the general Welfare
and secure the blessings of LIBERTY to ourselves
and our Posterity
Do ordain and establish this
Constitution for the United States of America
 
The beauty of those words is not trivial. The meaning of those words is like a wrecking ball hitting you square in the face and yet they flow through you like sweet poetry.

But lest we forget: WE the people does not mean “We the Corporations” . It doesn’t include the word “They” or “Some other Nation we are in debted to” or “We the People and the Bankers who own us”. It doesn’t mean “We the People and the Government Officials who make us believe we are at their service instead of the other way around.” It means exactly what it says. We the People.
 
It is this author’s opinion, that in order to pass school, get a job or to get a drivers license…that every man, woman and child who is a citizen of this great nation should be required to know this passage and to have to recite it IN ENGLISH. Perhaps it would then open the door to them knowing and understanding the true depth of the entire Constitution. Knowing their own rights as United States citizens so we can more effectively DEFEND our rights against those who would lessen them, illegally amend them or decide to change them without our knowlege citing “our best interests” as their reason. And I’m not talking about those in another nation or the “unseen” forces who would destroy us with weapons etc. etc. I’m TALKING ABOUT OUR OWN LAWMAKERS, OFFICIALS and LEGISLATORS.,….Congressmen…Senators…who would vote to break down and destroy the very document that our country was founded upon…..to make such plans as to enact a North American Union. To treat WE THE PEOPLE instead like We the Sheeple.
 
Our Constitution was not created to be amended. It was well-thought out in every way to cover everything we need in order to operate this nation according to the principles it was founded upon. It is our job as the caretakers of this nation to defend, NOT amend that brilliant and all-encompassing document.
 
As long as WE stand back and allow the erosion of our Constitution and our Constitutional Rights as citizens of the United States, by not knowing EVERY word of that document, by not knowing exactly what those words mean, by not knowing our basic rights, by not knowing what is being stated loudly and clearly in those Articles, then WE the People are to blame for every bit of it.
 
I can only urge you parents, sit down and LEARN the words yourselves.
 
Sit down and learn what is IN the Constitution. THEN more importantly, sit down and TEACH IT TO YOUR CHILDREN and GRANDCHILDREN.
 
Do this before it’s too late and we are left with nothing more than the distant memories of an oldster in a rocking chair, who’s memories and experience of those tradition-filled Fourth of July celebrations die with them because all that we are, all that our nation stands for has been eroded to nothing….and we are “We the People” no more.

Who Owns the Media That We Trust for Information?

There are SO many of us that place all of our trust in the news the “reliable” sources of information like CNN, FOX, Reuters, Associated Press and even Snopes.com when we want to find out the real “truth” about things going on in the world. We don’t want to trust “conspiracy theories” and other such nonsense and we want to find out what we need to know to make sound decisions.
 
I have ranted over and over and over throughout the past few years on email and on the radio show that I co-hosted with my radio partner, that we CANNOT TRUST where our sources of info come from because we do not know WHO OWNS and controls the news and such information sources.
 
Don’t believe it??
Well, here’s one question to start things off. Why on EARTH would a DRUG company own a NEWS corporation??

One could argue many ways or not…it could be as simple as “making money’. But, let’s step away from our own position in life and step in their shoes for a moment: when you are trying to push drugs and other side products that your multibillion dollar coporations (with hundreds of other smaller companies that your conglomerate owns) and keep the cash wagon rolling, then it pays to OWN the media who you will be advertising with. Why? So when you do something harmful, illegal or criminal, the reporters cannot and will not report it under threat of losing their jobs and lawsuit. If you OWN the media, well you can decide what gets to air right??
 
Most of us who don’t want to believe in this kind of thing would jump to say, “Wait a minute”. These companies are developing drugs which save lives. They provide jobs to millions of people. They are part of our economy.
 
Okay, so those are valid points. BUT: WHAT is the impact of the products which they are promoting that are creating jobs and “saving lives”.
 
Let’s look at a few examples before we address the real issue here about a drug company owning a media/news outlet.
 
Let’s take the Monsanto corporation first off. One of their arms of business creates drugs. Their board shares members for Monsanto, another comapny called Syngenta (a merger corp). Syngenta for one creates the breast cancer drug Tamoxifen used to “treat” and note I said treat not cure breast cancer. It is a BILLION dollar industry for them. On their other arm they have Monsanto..which produces GMO foods, chemical fertilizers, defoliants and other agrichemicals. It is a KNOWN fact that some of the chemcials Monsanto is creating that are being sprayed on our foods CAUSE CANCER including breast cancer. I have seen the FDA charts and looked up the chemicals myself (yes this was time consuming and no, I’m not being paid for my journalism and investigative reporting…I’m just crazy and I care so much about the state of this world that I do it for free!). Now Monsanto/Syngenta is ALSO creating the “treatment’ for the cancer which they are helping to cause. Raking in BILLIONS on both sides of the fence. Create chemicals that give people cancer and then sell them the “treatment”. Which is also a toxin.  Is this ethical?? I DON’T THINK SO, FOLKS.
 
A few years ago there was a huge lawsuit between Monsanto and Fox news because some reporters uncovered just HOW dangerous growth hormone is that is being put into the milk that we and our children are drinking. Yep. Monsanto also creates this hormone. And so it’s becoming evident upon a closer look that Monsanto is one of the largest, richest and most evil corporations on the planet which produces not only some of the most toxic cancer causing chemicals in the world, but also creates through their drug company arm the drugs which “treat” the cancer they are giving people through their chemical products, hormones added to foods AND let’s not forget: they have unconstitutionally patented most seeds and developed “terminator seeds” which only produce ONE crop.
 
Get the severity of this. If a farmer is using GMO terminator seeds then year after year he is FORCED to go back to Monsanto to pay for more seeds because his crops will not produce more than one crop for him. Thus Monsanto will soon control the entire world food/crop supply if this trend continues. There is much research and information to be had on it.
 
And I’m telling you — we HAD BETTER take it seriously.
 
And so finally we come to the point I was originally at at the beginning of this rant!
Why ANY of these corporations would OWN the media.
 
An interesting piece of data which was documented by Dr. Joseph Mercola, MD is that few years ago, the huge drug company Glaxo Wellcome-Smith Kline MERGED with Beecham to create the LARGEST DRUG company in the WORLD. Sir Christopher Hogg (English Title means Illuminati ELITE of course) is Glaxo’s non-executive CHAIRMAN. Hmmm…do we find it strange that Sir. Hogg is ALSO the non-executive chairman at REUTERS?? A drug company executive chairman who is also the chairman of a huge news and information media outlet.
 
So many treatments that the FDA REFUSES to be allowed to be passed here in the US to treat cancer and other ailments are available over in Germany and some of the European nations. People go over there because OUR system fails them or the treatment is so toxic that some cannot withstand it and their tumors shrink but they DIE FROM THE TREATMENT and chemo. And yet, we accept what we are being told without quesiton and if we investigate some of the more safer alternative and non-toxic or at least LESS toxic treatments that are available elsewhere for a fraction of the price of what healthcare costs here we can see that there is something WRONG.
 
How many times do we see drugs being released that have DANGEROUS and often fatal side effects that are swept under the rug, not reported while the drug compnay and the doctors who often have stock in those companies make BILLIONS and only AFTER that fact do they start to report the damage, death and often irreversible health problems that were not allowed to be reported. The FDA -who are also owned by them, just passes these things along as “safe” without care. Why? Because BIG PHARMA is buying up and already partially owns the goddamned media!!!! GRRR!!
 
We the People need to wake up to what is going on in the world around us and we’d better start paying attention and making our voices known about these things before it is too late to save ourselves from the Elite who have driven us further and further into mental and physical slavery through their ownership and thus their control of what we are allowed to know. Most of us don’t have time to become chemists and learn all about what we are being fed or treated with and so we place our trust in those who have learned these things. Most people who go to college and get those positions are very good individuals who go to school to learn it because they want to help, just as most doctors, psychologists and other professionals in that field go to school for the same reason. They WANT to help.
 
BUT who owns the corporations they are working and developing technologies for as well as the universities and information outlets from which they get their training? The same elite which own most banks, drug companies and multi-media outlets that control our economy and the world.
 
Bottom line: we have a fundamental right to know these very important TRUTHS of products, drugs, and chemicals in our everyday world that they are making billions from but that they lie to us about safety issues and how it will impact our well-being, the sustainability of the planet we live upon and that of future generations.
